Background:

Hooters, the iconic restaurant chain, was looking to enhance their location search tool by adding two different things – a feature that found the users’ current location and a filter that allowed users to only show Hooters locations in the area that were showing UFC events.

Scope:

Update the Google API on the Hooters site to allow the user to search for Hooters locations based on their current location (returns longitude and latitude coordinates). Also, update the Google API to allow users to filter by locations showing UFC events.

Background:

Samsung, a leader in the home appliance industry, wanted to enhance the user experience on their website for builders looking to install Samsung products. One of their focuses was making it easy for a builder to look up manuals and specs for each of Samsung’s home appliances.

Scope:

Create a tool for builders to search for Samsung products by category and model or by model number. Once a product is selected, the user clicks a button to download the spec sheet for that specific product. Each spec sheet file follows a specific naming convention, and the dropdowns used in this tool are populated via parsed JSON. Depending on what the user selects in each dropdown, it concatenates that data to form the final file name to be downloaded.

Decisely, a company helping small business owners offer and manage their employee benefits, wanted to expand its product offering to associations comprised of sole proprietors. Decisely linked up with Vault Health Holdings to build a health captive and needed a portal for prospects to enter in their information, determine their eligibility, and if eligible, allow prospects to select and enroll in a health benefits plan.

Scope:

Build a portal for prospects to enter in their business, personal and dependent(s) information to determine if they’re eligible for benefits. If deemed eligible, the portal communicates with Vault to return plan rates. The plan rates are displayed with their corresponding plan summaries, and the user then selects the plan they’d like to enroll in. Following the plan selection, the user signs necessary agreements and paperwork, then enters their banking information to set up monthly payments. After completing the enrollment, the user’s information is written to a CSV and the CSV along with the user documents are compiled into a zip file. This zip file is then sent to Vault for processing.
